June 2014 – Ellensburg (WA), US

The small town of Ellensburg, Washington might be best known for their rodeo’s, but it was not the famous bull wranglers that stole the show on this late night in June. The entire town came out to see a stunning bride and her cowboy say their ‘I do’s’. Missy and Logan are Ellensburg natives; born and raised in the heart of farm country. It was an absolute treat to be apart of their special day. The winds were blowing true Washington style the morning of the wedding. Completely transformed by friend’s and family, the grandmother of the bride’s backyard was dressed as country style ceremony venue. Missy glowed, laced from head to toe in a vintage inspired fitted dress, completed with a birdcage veil. There is no lack of support for this well loved pair, as the seats filled quickly with family and friends who came to see the beautiful procession and a joining of two hearts. In true country fashion, following the ceremony the wedding party hopped on a hayride to the reception hall. The large white and red barn glistened with twinkly lights, and a stunning display of champagne. Everyone wore smiles on their faces as they ate, drank, and danced the night away. It is not every day I get to shoot a country wedding. I was overwhelmed by the love shared, the fun had, and the memories made by this great couple.
