June 2016 – de Ruige Weide, Oudewater, the Netherlands

Wedding season was in full swing as we were honored to shoot another beautiful wedding at de Ruige Weide in Oudewater. Our groom Jan Willem and bride Marleen took us on a trip down memory lane, retelling their love story. Leaving nothing to the imagination we took the couple back to the place they first laid eyes on one another. This magical place was the tram stop. Fully dressed in wedding attire the couple made for the picture perfect couple. After a short love shoot we made our way to the wedding location. Rain or shine, de Ruige Weide in Oudewater performs as a perfect wedding spot. This location was laced with stunningly wild greenery and luscious green forest. Candles and streamers decorated the walls of a rustic old barn. The day could not have been more fitting four our bride and groom. From the adorable skits acted out by their students, shooting bow and arrows with the day guests, to the heartfelt ceremony that ended with flying confetti; they truly had it all. Ending the night with live music and a bonfire. This is one rust wedding that will not be soon forgotten!
